Ernahrungskonzept
Ernahrungskonzept is a scientifically recommended dietary strategy, which is intended to promote health and well-being by optimising energy, protein, mineral and vitamin intake. The diet is designed to provide a variety of essential nutrients, while also reducing the total intake of saturated fats and refined sugars.
Our concept focuses on a wholefoods, plant-based diet. In addition to fruits and vegetables, it also includes a variety of other healthy foods, including beans, nuts, seeds, grains, fish and meats.
In addition to the nutritional components of a healthy diet, the correct amount of exercise is also important for maintaining optimal fitness and performance. In particular, athletes should make an effort to eat a diet rich in protein, which will provide the body with enough energy for intense training sessions.
A diet high in protein is especially effective for promoting muscle growth and development, boosting strength and stamina, and improving overall health. Moreover, protein-rich diets are also known to increase immunity, lower cholesterol levels and decrease inflammation.
The consumption of high-quality proteins, such as red meat and fish, is particularly beneficial for those at risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Specifically, it helps to reduce LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, which can lead to plaque buildup in the arteries.
Diets based on whole grains, fruit and vegetables are also important for promoting long-term health and vitality. They contain high amounts of fiber, which can lower the risk of heart disease and certain cancers.
Moreover, whole grain foods have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. They can also help to prevent and treat many chronic diseases, including arthritis and diabetes.
In order to keep a balanced diet, it is important to consume a diverse range of foods and avoid foods that are high in salt or sodium. This is because salt can cause the release of potassium, which in turn increases blood pressure.
The consumption of foods high in magnesium is also important for maintaining good health, as it reduces blood pressure and may aid in preventing the development of kidney stones. Additionally, foods containing magnesium are known to strengthen bones and muscles.
Foods containing calcium are also recommended for increasing bone density and reducing the risk of osteoporosis. They are also a natural source of vitamin D, which is necessary for healthy skin and teeth.
Our nutritional approach is based on the principles of the Mediterranean Diet, which consists of a balance between different food groups and is recommended for people with a wide range of health conditions. In addition, we use fresh, locally grown produce and wholegrains as much as possible, while avoiding processed and refined carbohydrates.
We also ensure that children are given a variety of foods and drinks. This is done through our element-i establishments, where they are provided with a range of snacks and meals. In addition, we have a kitchen area where they can prepare their own dishes and enjoy them.
